Details : A private family in Saint Petersburg is looking for a young, active, well-educated Governess to support and accompany their two children, aged 5 and 8.

The key focus of this position is not formal teaching, but active and genuine involvement in the children's lives — playing with them, creating engaging activities, maintaining their interest and curiosity, and being a warm and enthusiastic companion in their everyday life.

The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys playing with children and knows how to engage them naturally, both individually and as part of a group.

Requirements : Female, under 35 years old.
Previous experience working with children aged 5–8 and actively engaging them in play, activities, and everyday life.
Ability to play with children, create engaging activities, and maintain their interest.
Experience accompanying children to classes and children's studios.
Ability to interact not only with the children she is responsible for, but also with groups of children.
Emotionally stable, calm, patient, and resilient.
Gentle, tolerant, and respectful communication style.
Responsible, proactive, and independent.
Valid international passport and willingness to accompany the family on trips and international travel.
Citizenship: Russian or other nationalities, except Ukrainian citizenship.
Russian and English language skills required; additional foreign languages are a plus.
A degree in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
Good understanding of child development and age-specific needs of children aged 5 and 8.
Understanding of how to interact with and engage groups of children.

A major advantage would be additional education or a strong practical skill that the candidate can bring into the children's lives, such as sports, music, creative activities, dance, art, or another engaging area of interest.

Duties : Accompanying the children to children's studios and extracurricular activities.
Supporting and participating in activities and games during classes.
Interacting with other children and helping facilitate group activities.
Organising and supervising children's play at home, including when friends visit.
Playing and engaging in age-appropriate activities with both children.
Creating new games, activities, and experiences based on the children's ages and interests.
Keeping children engaged, interested, and emotionally involved.
Accompanying the children and family during trips and travel.
Assisting with household and organisational matters related to the children and their daily lives.
Helping maintain organisation in matters directly related to the children.
Communicating with the parents and following their guidance regarding the children's routine and daily life.
