Details : A private family in Dubai, Jumeirah Islands is looking for a professional native English-speaking Governess / Governor to work with their 3-year-old son on a full-time basis.

The main focus of the role is the child’s English language development and early education through play-based learning, interactive activities and everyday communication. The ideal candidate will be energetic, engaging and able to build a warm, trusting relationship with the child.

Requirements : Native English speaker.
Relevant experience working with young children.
Experience teaching English to children through play-based and interactive methods.
Experience with early childhood education is an advantage.
Energetic, warm and engaging personality.
Ability to connect with the child and build trust.
Patient, responsible and attentive.
Professional experience working with private families is preferred.
Willingness to travel internationally with the family.

Duties : Provide English-language education and practice through play and everyday communication.
Conduct age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.
Use games, books, songs, stories and creative activities to develop the child's English.
Support vocabulary, listening, speaking and communication skills.
Create an engaging and natural English-speaking environment.
Plan activities appropriate to the child's age and interests.
Encourage curiosity, independence and positive learning habits.
Accompany and supervise the child during activities and family travels.
Maintain a safe, positive and stimulating environment.
Communicate with the parents regarding the child's progress and development.
