Requirements :
Fluent English is essential.
Knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian is an advantage but is not required.
Relevant higher education, preferably in Education, Teaching, Languages, Psychology, or a related field.
Previous experience working as a governess, tutor, teacher, or educational mentor.
Proven experience working with school-age children.
Familiarity with international school programmes and curricula is highly desirable.
Ability to motivate a child and make learning engaging and enjoyable.
Broad cultural and academic knowledge.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Warm, intelligent, patient, and emotionally mature personality.
Professional, responsible, discreet, and reliable.
Willingness to travel with the family may be considered an advantage.

Explain academic material clearly and in an engaging manner.
Help organise the child’s daily routine and study schedule.
Encourage motivation, independence, responsibility, and effective study habits.
Develop the child’s critical thinking, general knowledge, and intellectual curiosity.
Organise educational and culturally enriching leisure activities.
Accompany the child to museums, exhibitions, concerts, educational events, and other age-appropriate activities.
Select books, learning materials, and activities according to the child’s interests and academic needs.
Create a positive, supportive, and inspiring English-speaking environment.
Monitor academic progress and provide regular feedback to the parents.
Communicate with teachers or school representatives when required.
Support the child’s emotional well-being and confidence in learning.

Compensation:
Competitive salary, discussed individually depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and preferred schedule.
Schedule:
Regular work, Full-time working day, The family is open to discussing different working arrangements: 5 days per week / 2 days off; 6 days per week / 1 day off; Rota schedule, depending on the candidate’s availability and experience. The exact working hours and schedule will be agreed individually with the successful candidate.
