The two older children attend the British School of Monaco, while the youngest attends a French-speaking preparatory school.

Details : A family based in Monaco is seeking a highly qualified English Native Governess/Governor with a strong academic background and knowledge of French. The primary focus of the role is to support and enhance the children’s academic performance while fostering their overall development in a structured yet engaging environment.

The family employs additional childcare staff; therefore, this role is primarily focused on education and development.

the schedule of children for the tutor during the school week:

7:20 a.m. start of work.
8:15 a.m. children go to school (in the car with the children, repeating the multiplication table, repeating what each student needs for school)
14:30 meeting with the babysitter/ mom/ assistant. A plan for the evening, the next day, and a demonstration of the prepared material for additional classes.
15:45 meeting of children at the school.
16:00-18:00 classes, knowledge.
18:00-18:40 lecture during dinner. Getting to know a new topic/poems.
19:00-20:30 reading before going to bed. One at a time with each child/ verse.
21:00 is free.

Weekend:

8:00 a.m. start of the day
8:30 a.m. breakfast
9:00-12:30 classes
12:30 p.m. lunch
13:00-15:00 quiet hour/reading
15:00-18:00 someone is walking, someone is studying, one at a time
18:00 dinner
19:30-20:30 reading
20:30/21:00 sleep

Requirements : * Native English speaker
* Fluent or advanced level of French (minimum C1)
* Strong academic background and proven governance experience
* Confident, well-mannered, and able to set clear boundaries
* Engaging, dynamic, and able to inspire children
* Emotionally intelligent, with strong interpersonal skills
* Active lifestyle and interest in sports is preferred
* Flexible, discreet, and stress-resistant
* Basic knowledge of Russian is a plus

Duties : * Provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment
* Deliver high-level academic support and actively improve school performance
* Assist with and closely monitor homework and school projects
* Communicate exclusively in English with the children
* Support age-appropriate development and intellectual growth
* Organize educational, cultural, and physical activities
* Accompany the family during travel when required
