Qualified Primary Teacher and English governess

I am qualified Primary teacher with over 15 years teaching and childcare experience. I have taught a range of subjects from english as a foreign language to Mathematics and Science. I am able to prepare children for international schools, Cambridge exams and can teach following both the British curriculum (Key stage levels) and the American curriculum. I have taught in New Zealand and the British Educational system. During my time overseas I have also has the oppotunity to work for many different families from a vast range of cultures. Through these unique experiences I have become a highly skilled, adaptable and versatile nanny\ governess. Although I am hardworking and value the importance of roitines, I also have easygoing, flexible attitude and a calm and caring nature that children and parents find approachable. I understand that each child is unique and I try to adapt my teaching and learning approach to meet needs of each individual child. I have background in education and I understand the dimensions of teaching English. However I also believe that having a holistic approach to children's development is important. I have a passion for nature and I see an importance in learning through outdoor games,sports and activities as well as nurturing the social and emotional development of the child. I thouroughly enjoy guiding children in making their own learning discoveries and being part of their upbringing to develop them into happy,self-sufficient, well-rounded and educated individuals.
