Governess / Tutor / English teacher

I'm Charlotte, an experienced governess, tutor and language teacher, having worked internationally for eleven years in a variety of environments including six in high profile households. Since early 2020 I have been bringing my diverse experience to the online language learning format for both children and adults (taking private lessons as well as volunteering with an NGO in Cambodia ). As well as BA and MA degrees, I hold the International House Certificate in teaching young learners and teenagers, as well as CELTA (Pass B - top 10%) which I studied in London in 2009, and am a Cambridge approved speaking examiner (Starters, Movers and Flyers, KET and PET). I can deliver specific results such as accelerated English language development, entrance examination preparation, and excel in building and maintaining rapport with children. I have had continued success in growing my students’ confidence and self- sufficiency. I am used to working as an integral part of large household and staff teams, and now have the experience and great interest in the future of remote presence through my online lesson delivery.
