Tutor

I am an International House certified language tutor and have been teaching both one-to-one and group classes at all levels (A1 - C2) to professionals, teenagers and children as young as 8 years old since November 2002. I specialised in online tuition in December 2018.

I was born and raised in Germany and over the years, acquired the following qualifications: GCSE ("excellent"), chartered language secretary in German/French, chartered hotel manager, qualified Personal Trainer, International House Teacher Training certificate (obtained in 2002). Furthermore I’ve worked and lived in the following countries: Germany, England, Switzerland, Spain, Denmark, Russia and France.

I don't really follow a specific structure, since I'd rather adapt to the student's needs and wishes. I usually spend a minimum of 30 min on just speaking (correcting mistakes is vital) and in order to increase someone's range of vocabulary, I use authentic texts.

I also prepare students for various exams, like the GCSE, A-level, Goethe exam or Telc. I'm a very reliable, punctual, friendly person with a very open approach. I’m also very organised, structured, hardworking, , determined, proactive, approachable and very patient.
