My name is Jeanette, and I am a warm, proactive early years Educator wanting to transition into a Nanny or Governess roll. I have over 25 years of experience in early childhood care, including 24 years running my own Montessori-based childcare setting. I have hands-on experience across every stage of early childhood, from infant care starting at two months old through toddlerhood and up to age six, with an education-first approach that nurtures confidence, curiosity, and independence through everyday care and play. I bring a strong grounding in Montessori and holistic early learning principles (AMI guidelines, ages 0–6), which I use to inform daily routines, activities, and school-readiness preparation, rather than as formal teaching. I also have a background in early childhood music, and I support literacy, numeracy, and general school-readiness through natural, play-based learning. I have genuine experience caring for children with additional needs, including ASD, ADD, ADHD, and PDA, and am comfortable liaising with therapists and pediatricians where needed. Beyond childcare, I am a confident, experienced driver who manages school runs and daily transport, an excellent cook with a real interest in child nutrition, and a “Learn to Swim” swimming instructor.
