How we check our candidates
Every candidate who wants to register with the Agency and apply for the position of nanny or tutor is interviewed by our staff. Our managers conduct interviews, during which they not only check the information provided in the resume, but also ask the applicant for information about their desired position, work experience, level of education, lifestyle, interests and hobbies. Experienced psychologists evaluate the personal and professional qualities of candidates, as well as conduct aptitude tests. We take care of the safety of Your children, so we are ready to organize a polygraph test for applicants.

- Reasons why the candidate decided to become a nanny?
- In the candidate’s opinion, what qualities must a nanny have?
- Are you a hardworking/organized/creative/flexible/ punctual/ person? Give some examples?
- Do you like animals? Do you have some allergies or psychological issues related to animals?
- Are you vegetarian? Could you cook meat for children?
- If you smoke, how often do you do this? Would you be able to abstain from your habit during your stay with your host family, at work, etc.?
- Do you have communication and care experience with children? Have you ever worked as a nanny, a coordinator in a children’s summer camp, a nanny in a kindergarten or a nurse?
- How have you gained an understanding with children and observed their behavior?
- In what kind of environment did you feel comfortable – in a city/town, in a suburb, in the countryside? In what kind of location do you live now?
- What are your household duties now? What household chores are you ready to do (for example, to cook a simple meal, to clean up the house, to iron clothes, to take a child to school and from school, etc.)?
- What are your hobbies? Do you like sports, traveling, swimming, going to the beach, etc.?
- Would you describe yourself as a neat or untidy person? Could you live with a family whose house is often very untidy or very clean?
- Do you have any health isues? What kind?
HEALTH AND SECURITY
- Do you have any First Aid training?
- What would you do in following situations? (a child is choking /burned himself/ hit his head/ has a high temperature/ has cut himself )?
- What would you do if caught in a thunderstorm/a strong wind with a child nearby?
- How would you ensure the child’s safety in a car, during a walk, in places with household cleaning products and medicine?
- Do you drive a car? Have you ever had an accident/breached the law? If yes, tell us about it. (Check the driving license presence)
- What would you do in case of an earthquake/a tsunami?
CHILD’S DEVELOPMENT
- What would you do to keep a child busy during the day?
- What is your opinion on disciplining a child?
- In your opinion, what kind of activities and games do children like?
- In your opinion how much time during the day can a child watch TV and use the internet?
- Do you think sticking to a daily routine is important for a child?
- How should a child take his meals and what foods must be on their menu?
- What place does internet, books, television, sports, strolls and communication take in a child’s development?
- Do you like to cook and bake? What kind of cuisine/meals?
- Do you have drama skills? if so how do you use them while communicating with a child?
- Are you a sociable person?
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Tell about your latest/present work place, why have you left?
- Regarding your latest job, what did you like and what did you dislike?
- What is your working with children experience and with what childrens ages?
- Do you have work experience with /naughty/disobedient/spoilt children? Tell us about it?
- Do you have a work experience in Russia/ UAE/ etc ?
- Have you ever lived far apart from your own family?
- Are you able to change your normal environment, leave your family, your friends and live in another country for a year or more ?
- Have you ever been abroad? If yes, in what countries and how long did you stay there?
- What subjects have you studied at high school/at college? Do you have any experience teaching English to children?
- Please, elaborate on your latest work places.
- What do you like the most about working with children?
- Do you have recommendations from your previous job places? Do you mind if I call these people?
WORK CONDITIONS
- When are you ready to take up your duties?
- What salary do you expect and for what schedule?
- Are you ready to stay with a child 24/7 for an extra payment?
- What living conditions do you need?
- How many days-off would you like to have?
- How many times do you plan to fly home for holidays and who is supposed to pay for the tickets? How many free tickets would you like to have based on your contract?
- Do you agree to work on national holidays?
- Do you have plans for your holidays?
- Please, tell us when you’re ready to start working and if you have some planned events your host family should know about?
