Governess / Teacher
I am highly motivated, conscientious and flexible. I am able to work on my own initiative and am also a team player. I take my role seriously, initiate professional conduct, have administrative competence and can work under pressure, meeting deadlines.I take a genuine interest in my students’ cultural backgrounds and interests. I have taught from age five to sixteen-year-old children in state and private education and adults on my CELTA course. I have also taught adults and children after qualifying. As far as TEFL is concerned I have gained relevant experience teaching multicultural and multilevel groups at Nottingham Language Academy. I am well informed about current trends in EFL, proficiency exams and the requirements of the National Curriculum for English. The teaching practice component of the CELTA course I completed at Nottingham Language Academy involved producing material for various levels, offering assistance and giving feedback to my fellow trainees, completing self-evaluation reports and establishing personal aims. I had to work against tight deadlines, sometimes under tremendous pressure, which helped me to become both self-reliant and a good team player.
My long-term objective is to work within a dynamic and proficient environment where I can use all my experience and knowledge as well as continue my own professional development.
