Live-in English speaking Nanny/Housekeeper for a family in Southampton, NY, USA

Accommodation : A separate room with own bathroom will be provided. The family provides food and a cell-phone if necessary. Basic cleaning of the house is carried out by a cleaning company.

Children (students) information : A 9-year old girl and 4 boys aged 7, 5, 2 and 6 months.

Details : A warm, active family based in Southampton, NY, seeking a full-time nanny to join their household team. The role is to work alongside a stay-at-home mom and an au pair (or other secondary childcare helper) in a collaborative, family-centered environment.

Requirements : Relevant work experience;
Filipino candidates are preferred;
A good knowledge of English is required for successful communication;
Ideally willing and able to travel with the family (not strictly required);
Pet friendly (there are dogs and a cat);
Confident driver (ideally, but not strictly required);
Creative, energetic, and proactive — someone who can see what needs to be done without always waiting to be asked;
Able to “read the room”: step in and engage when help is needed, or step back gracefully when the parents are actively with the children;
Loves working with children, with lots of patience and warmth;
Looking for a long-term role to become part of the family and grow with the children over the years;
Professional yet playful, who enjoys being part of a busy household, and who truly loves nurturing children.

Duties : Care for children across a range of ages (infant through school age).
Sometimes focus on the older children, other times helping more with the younger ones, depending on the family’s needs each day.
Light housework around the house and the children (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, helping keep things organized).
Some simple cooking, especially when mom is out with the kids or at busy times.
